By default the Address Book presents contact information as static text, which cannot be interacted with in any way. The only way to get at this information is to open the Properties dialog box for a particular contact. This extension makes the text active so that it can be selected, copied and pasted. Now you can copy your phone numbers, email addresses and names into any application (or into emails) without having to open the Properties dialog box.
IMPORTANT NOTES: if you do an address book search, then the search box will have the input focus. You will first need to *select the address card you are interested in*, and then it will be possible to copy/paste items from the card. You can use the menu Edit->Copy function, or the command-key equivalent (but there is no context menu).
